Erick’s Five Top Tips on public speaking are as follows

The first of his public speaking tips is eye contact. So often people who are presenting at public speaking events skim the audience, they just scan, they’re like a radar and they never take time to lock in and connect with people. If you do that you build massive rapport very quickly and massively benefit your public speaking.

Erick’s second public speaking tip is body language. Quite often people’s body language is incongruent with the words that they are using. There are only five body language archetypes and it will pay you handsomely to learn what they are and use them at the appropriate moment.

The third of his public speaking tips is keep it simple. So often speakers just go on and on and on and on. It’s much better to keep your speech very short and to the point than to bore your audience to tears. Leave them wanting more.

The fourth public speaking tip is to have a strong introduction and a clear conclusion. If you think about movies they always open really powerfully and they conclude in a strong fashion. Your speech should do exactly the same thing.
